Two-day Level I assessment with coaching provided during evaluation. Three modules: Ski Performance, Movement Analysis/Technical Understanding, and Teaching/People Skills. Employment at a PSIA-AASI Member School required.
📍 Whitefish Mountain Resort
Intensive two-day prep clinic for Snowboard Level II candidates. Work with education team members on riding performance, technical understanding, and teaching skills. Strongly encouraged before assessment.
📍 Big Sky Resort
CS1 on-snow clinic and assessment. Requires completion of online course 48 hours prior to on-snow component. Focus on children’s learning styles, safety, and age-appropriate teaching progressions.

Three-day Level II assessment. Candidates must ski all green and blue terrain including bumps and un-groomed conditions, plus groomed moderate black terrain. Three assessment modules over three days.

Two-day Adaptive Level I assessment. Requires Alpine Level I or Snowboard Level I certification prior to attending. Focus on sit-ski, visual impairment, and cognitive disability instruction.

NRM’s second-largest annual event. Free event allowing instructors and coaches to collaborate, network, and progress their freestyle skills in the terrain park. Open to all disciplines.
📍 Lookout Pass
Full-day clinic covering classic and skating technique with the XC education team. All levels welcome. Great continuing education opportunity for Nordic instructors.

Multi-regional unified assessment for Level II and III telemark candidates. National alignment event across PSIA-AASI regions. Modular three-day format with separate modules for each skill area. Candidates may register for individual days.

Season-closing celebration with fun clinics, awards ceremony, and community gathering. Recognize outstanding instructors and education team members. A beloved NRM tradition.
